You tell us about your child — their name, personality, favourite things, and dreams — and our AI creates a completely unique story starring them as the hero. We then print it as a premium hardcover book and ship it to your door. Every single book is one of a kind. No two Kidoory books are ever the same.

Most personalised books simply insert a child's name into a pre-written template. Kidoory is fundamentally different. Our AI reads your child's actual personality, their real interests, their best friend's name, their dreams, and even a funny memory you share — and writes a story that could only ever be about your child. The result feels like someone who knows them deeply sat down and wrote a book just for them. Parents often say their children can't believe someone knew all that about them.

We create books for children aged 2 to 12 years. When you fill in the form, you select your child's age group and our AI adjusts the language, story complexity, and themes accordingly. For toddlers (2–4), stories are shorter and simpler. For older children (8–12), stories are richer and more adventurous. Each book is perfectly crafted for its reader.

Yes! You can generate and preview the first two chapters of your child's story completely free before deciding to order. You only pay when you're happy with what you see. We want you to love every word before you commit.

This is something we feel very strongly about. Your uploaded photos stay on your own device and are never sent anywhere. The story details you type (name, personality, memories) are sent securely to our AI partners — Google and Anthropic — solely to write and illustrate your book. They are never used to train AI models, never sold, and we don't retain them after your book is created. The only information we keep is your shipping address (to send the book) and email (for order confirmation), held only as long as needed to fulfil your order and meet tax-record obligations.

Absolutely not. We do not run advertising. We do not track user behaviour. We do not sell data to any third party. Kidoory is a completely ad-free, tracking-free experience. Our only source of income is the books we sell — nothing else. We believe your family's privacy is sacred.

Yes. We are built around data minimisation: we collect only what's needed to create and deliver your book, we don't sell or advertise, and we don't retain your child's story details after the book is made. Story details are processed by named AI partners (Google, Anthropic) purely to generate your book, never for training. Usually between 15 and 30 seconds. Our AI is writing a completely original, personalised story just for your child — so it takes a moment. We think it's worth every second of the wait!

Yes! If you'd like a different adventure, simply click "Generate a different story" and a brand new story will be created. You can do this as many times as you like before ordering. Every generation is unique.

Yes! You can upload up to 20 photos of your child. These are used to help our AI describe your child more vividly in the story — their smile, their energy, their spirit. Photos are processed entirely in your browser and are never uploaded to our servers. They are automatically deleted from memory after the story is generated.

Our Premium books are printed on thick, high-quality paper with a durable hardcover binding that's built to last a lifetime. These are heirloom-quality books — the kind families keep on their shelves for generations.

Yes! Once your book is dispatched, you'll receive an email with a tracking link so you can follow its journey right to your door. You can also check your order status anytime at kidoory.com/track.

We stand behind every book we make. If your book arrives damaged, with a printing error, or the quality doesn't meet our standards, we will send you a free reprint immediately — no questions asked. If your order hasn't arrived within 30 days, we'll issue a full refund. See our full Refund Policy for complete details.

Because each book is printed uniquely for your child and enters production immediately after payment, we're unable to cancel orders once printing has begun. However, we encourage you to take your time with the story preview before ordering. If something goes wrong with your order after it's printed, our quality guarantee covers you.

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Apple Pay, Google Pay, and local payment methods in many countries. Payments are processed securely by Stripe — one of the world's most trusted payment providers. Kidoory never sees or stores your card details.

Yes! Prices are automatically shown in your local currency — GBP for UK visitors, AUD for Australian visitors, INR for Indian visitors, and so on. Payments are processed in USD with automatic currency conversion by Stripe.
